What would you use to clean your glasses when there are smudges or stains on the lenses? Cleaning it with shirt or tissue are probably the most common methods we use daily. However, what we\u2019ve been practicing is actually damaging the glasses because our shirt contains dust and other particles that may scratch your lenses. While there are many of us that are aware of using the wrong method, however, for the sake of convenience we still do it anyway. If this is a wrong method, then how should we clean the glasses in a proper way?<\/p>\n

Step 1: <\/strong>Make sure your hands are clean and dry before cleaning glasses<\/p>\n\n\n

Step 2: <\/strong>Rinse your glasses with warm tap water. Do not use hot water as it may damage lens coatings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: <\/strong>Put small portion of lotion-free dishwashing liquid on each lens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 4: <\/strong>Softly rub the lenses and the entire part of frame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 5: <\/strong>Rinse thoroughly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 6: <\/strong>Gently wipe off the water with clean lint-free cloth has not been cleaned with a fabric softener or dryer sheet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 7: <\/strong>Remove streaks or smudges remain with a microfiber cleaning cloth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We recommend to always carry individually-packaged lens wipes which will be very useful to clean your lenses while you\u2019re out and about.
